What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage an Operations Manager and a team of analysts, overseeing performance and workload distribution
- Train analysts in Structured Query Language (SQL) query development and data extraction best practices
- Design and implement data warehouse solutions, including views and stored procedures for data transformation
- Coordinate communication and documentation for project completion, consulting with research and IT teams
- Establish governance processes for timely responses to data disclosure requests and manage user relationships
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, Applied Biostatistics, Public Health, or related field
- 5+ years of experience designing and optimizing complex SQL queries within data warehouse environments, with at least 2 years in clinical healthcare data
- Experience leading initiatives to enhance workflows and improve operational efficiency
- Strong process development and system-level improvement skills
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in a related field
- Experience working in clinical research settings
- Experience supervising staff or project teams
- Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) data through Epic Clarity and Caboodle
- Familiarity with clinical data warehouses and research regulations
