What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement sanitation standards for dry cleaning operations across multiple facilities
- Lead sanitation initiatives in collaboration with Operations, Quality & Food Safety, Engineering, Procurement, and vendors
- Monitor key metrics and drive continuous improvement in sanitation effectiveness
- Conduct audits to assess sanitation systems and identify improvement opportunities
- Support and coach plant sanitation managers and supervisors to enhance operational practices
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- 10–15 years of experience in food manufacturing, with at least 5 years in sanitation leadership
- Deep knowledge of dry sanitation protocols, allergen control, pest management, and sanitary design
- Familiarity with FDA, USDA, HACCP, HARPC, and environmental monitoring programs
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- HACCP/PCQI certification preferred
- Experience with CIP systems and sanitation chemical cost controls
