- Manage performance of direct reports. Set appropriate context and establish prescribed limits for subordinates, including setting an effective framework of policies and procedures for the work in the team.
- Act as a mentor for team members by providing effective coaching to maximize performance, promote accountability, build shared knowledge and enhance the team environment.
- Build a high performance environment and implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by foresting an inclusive work environment and using coaching mindset and behaviors; communicating vision/values/business strategy; and managing succession and development planning.
- Develop strong and successful relationships with key contacts at all levels of the organization including Business Operations, Systems and Executives to ensure internal/external client and stakeholders’ needs are not only met, but often exceeded.
- Coordinate with process owners to ensure efficiency, effectiveness and consistency across all Programs, Project and Release delivery processes.
- Facilitate information flow among business & IS/IT groups to gather/share information that will enhance Program, Project and Release delivery capabilities.
- Act as the escalation point for issues relating to operational issues and supplier performance or deviations from original work estimates etc. Taking appropriate actions to resolve the issues
- Develop a strategic roadmap for the ERP platforms in scope (BusinessCentral, Navision, SAP, etc.) and any other applications that integrate with ERP; including a roadmap to consolidate the number of ERP platforms in use today
- Act as the systems advocate for the design and build of solutions that promote agility, business capability, operability and efficiency.
- Ensure effective cost management for each application and develop / manage budgets for application support & related activities.
- Manage the prioritization and mitigation of all risks related to the ongoing operation of the application and deployment of new changes
- Manage projects involving the ERP platforms in scope using combination of Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Create and lead a Project Management Office to coordinate all projects in this domain
- Hire and lead internal and external project managers to deliver project in the domain roadmap
- Define and drive solutions architecture principals, software development life cycle and software development methodologies to keep in line with strategic enterprise systems technology plans to support current and anticipated business needs.
- Assess industry and technology solutions to establish optimum systems architecture supporting advancement of the company objectives
- Evaluate short-term or long-term priorities, and develop actionable plans
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients, solution vendors and end users to identify business requirements and translate these into technical specifications and systems architecture
- Leverage external industry knowledge, standards and advances to further internal objectives
- 10+ years of experience as an Application/Solution Architect, and managing ERP teams consisting of Functional, programmers, and administrators
- 10+ years of experience in a multi-location, global environment
- PMP certification and MBA will be considered an asset
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or other business-related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines; changing course and direction as needed
- Ability to develop strong client relationship at the Executive level (Director/VP/CXO levels) in relevant market and leveraging them to assess potential sales opportunities
- Ability to influence stakeholders and building consensus
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment
- Ability to motivate / manage a team of 10-15 direct reports
- Ability to manage a team with a diversity of cultures and people on remote locations and to stimulate collaboration is such an environment
- Proven success at managing change projects with ability to problem solve at detailed level and keep helicopter view
- Self-motivated and driven approach with strong result orientation
- Some travel to Europe and across North America.

Job Description
The HSS Global IT department is looking for a passionate, inquisitive, detail oriented and customer focused Senior Manager, ERP to join our growing team.
The Senior Manager, ERP role will manage an ERP team consisting of internal and external resources. The role will work directly with business executives, IS/IT leadership team to define long-term enterprise technology strategies and roadmap. The role reports to the Director, Global ERP. The role will be based out of Mississauga, Ontario.
