JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Manager, Finance works closely with Department and Finance Leadership to develop and establish broad business plans, strategies and policies that significantly improve company profitability. Conducts financial analysis, planning, forecasting, capital budgeting, decision-support, reporting.

REPORTS TO:
DVP, Finance JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides analytical support for departmental functions including development of the long-term financial plan, annual operating plan budget, capital project analysis, monthly forecasts, and performance analysis
• Develops knowledge and relationships with selected business units to guide plan process, understand planning issues and analyze business needs
• Collaborates with other teams to find common ground on important issues that get timely, accurate, and reliable projections, in order to project overall cash flows of the company
• Reviews new business proposals, identifies issues, risks and opportunities
• Executes financial due diligence and explains ramifications of findings and recommendations for project progress
• Identifies cost-saving and profit maximizing opportunities to improve current processes to generate actionable recommendations that provides more meaningful information to key decision makers
• Provides regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed to help drive business results
• Identifies and communicates risk areas and emerging trends through research and benchmarking and develops recommendations to senior management
• Prepares insightful presentations for senior management to concisely summarize performance targets and progress toward initiatives by individual business units

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors Degree
• 5-10 years of related experience
• 18 years of age or older

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Advance knowledge of financial, accounting theory and financial and statistical modeling techniques
• Strong managerial, planning, organization and project management skills
• Experience with Adaptive (software) required and Snowflake (data cloud) preferred
• Ability to apply various financial skills and knowledge to solve business problems and enhance decision-making
