      Purpose of the position
      CFD simulation expert for Commercial vehicle thermal management and External Aerodynamics domains using CFD simulation techniques for IC vehicles & BEVs.
      Co-ordinate analysis activities on day-to-day basis with concerned stakeholders.
      Ensure quality and completeness of input/output of CFD simulations in vehicle development process.
      Interpretation of CFD results and providing design inputs to vehicle development team.
      Program Management and Delivery.

      Personal Profile
      Education B.E /M Tech (Mechanical /Automobiles)
      Skills 1. Sound knowledge of mechanical/automotive Engineering, fluid mechanics, computational fluid dynamics, advanced heat transfer and thermodynamics.
      2. In depth knowledge of IC engine vehicle thermal management and EV vehicle thermal systems, interactions, and architecture, including traction cooling, Battery Thermal and cooling systems, vehicle aerodynamics.
      3. Strong understanding of vehicle development process.
      4. In depth knowledge of finite volume methods, turbulence modeling, structured & unstructured grids, wall functions.
      5. In-depth knowledge of digital optimization analysis, Ansys Fluent, ANSA, Ensight.
      6. Knowledge and hands on experience of Dassault Powerflow,
      7. Working knowledge of programming languages like Python, C, C++, etc.

      1 Ensure simulation problem definition, appropriateness, adequacy of simulation scope, correctness & completeness of CFD analysis.
      2 Interact with internal customers to seek opportunities to lead aerothermal design resulting in significant reduction in prototype cost, test efforts and development timeline.
      3 Interpret CFD results from thermal management & Exterior aerodynamics performance point of view to identify issues and suggest / implement cost effective solutions.
      4 Provide detailed CFD report, providing recommendations & design directions for improvements.
      5 Develop new competencies for future trends in CFD simulation techniques to maximize benefits from latest technologies.
      6 Work-out feasible design solutions along with design team to all identified risks.
      7 Support investigations pertaining to performance lapses identified during physical validation by providing in-depth understanding of physics involved. Perform correlation activity in test Vs CFD results to fine tune CFD model.
      8 Support vehicle development process from under hood thermal and Exterior Aerodynamics simulation point of view to meet project timelines.
      9 Continuous focus on new developments in software technologies to maximize benefits.
      10 Drive process automations to deploy new capabilities and develop process documents
      11 Strong presentation skills, strong in verbal and written communication skills
