JOB TITLE: Senior Manager, LBCM Treasury
SALARY: Competitive package
LOCATIONS: London
HOURS: Full-Time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time in the office.
About this opportunity
This is a Senior Manager role, covering our International businesses in NY, EU and the Crown Dependencies. In addition, coordinating LBCMs IRRBB through the transfer pricing process and structural hedges, alongside the credit risk in our LAP and term issuance profile.
Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets (LBCM) is in growth mode! We provide the opportunity for Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) to expand its client reach today and to maximise our scalability to grow into the future.
The LBCM Treasury team covers the GCT subject areas of Funding, Liquidity, Capital and Finance with interchangeable activities creating more opportunities for personal growth. With significant investment underway to enhance our client offering, Treasury will be instrumental in ensuring LBCM has the capacity to support that growth in a capital accretive way. We work alongside Group Corporate Treasury (GCT) to manage XVA and BTL volatile items, to hedge the Matching Adjustment portfolio hedges with Scottish Widows and to drive appropriate returns through the allocation of capital and liquidity costs to each of our businesses.
We continually seek ways to improve our balance sheet, to drive cost efficiencies and expand our product offering, making this role ideal for someone who likes to get into the details of a business, to question current practices and to deliver change.
Our work creates tangible outcomes, including providing more capacity for client activity, and improving the returns of the entity and ultimately the dividends we pay to group. You'll develop an understanding of everything from retail client journeys in Jersey, to Bank relationships in NY, to working closely with GCT to refine transfer pricing and learning how to dynamically hedge through XVA.
You'll be heavily involved with the ICAAP process which builds a comprehensive knowledge of capital risk and how the bank works; this role requires you to maintain a wide group of partners and to be an active member influencing change.
There is plenty of opportunity to learn on the job, and we actively encourage broader learning for the future. LBCM Treasury is embedded with GCT introducing a logical step in a Treasury career. We provide a bridge into Commercial and Retail businesses, creating a broad pool of collaborators as you progress.
