What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and grow multiple retail accounts, ensuring strong relationships and high customer satisfaction
- Assist in complex sales negotiations and support the closing of new business opportunities
- Oversee campaign execution and collaborate with cross-functional teams to exceed goals
- Coordinate with Finance and Operations on budgeting, forecasting, and product launches
- Champion established sales processes and recommend improvements for efficiency
What is Required (Qualifications):
- A degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline is strongly preferred; equivalent professional work experience will also be considered
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in retail sales, account management, or business development
- Proven experience managing large retail accounts, both major chains and independents
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Demonstrated success in leading sales teams and achieving or exceeding revenue targets
- Experience with forecasting, budget management, and ROI analysis
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel
- Strong understanding of supply chain and retail systems
- Ability to coach and develop team members
