- Position Summary:-
Responsible for Procurement of EV Powertrain & vehicle systems i.e. to plan and track the schedules of systems in time from suppliers . - Close co-ordination with Demand planner & SCM teams at Manufacturing site
- Stratify suppliers based on strategic importance; design customized supplier engagement programs . Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with suppliers and work with suppliers and internal teams to design plans for action from the review
- Identify risks early and proactively mitigate them
- Work closely with the supply base and the internal cross-functional teams of Sourcing, Fulfilment, and Quality to successfully execute the supplier engagement plans
- Use various tools & guide the team for inventory management to keep it at optimum level which is inline with the organizational targets.
- Generate, evaluate & implements Cost Control & Reductions through VA-VE / Cost Avoidance in all the areas of materials functions.
- Prepare various MIS & daily work management matrix which helps in days to day smooth working of the department and effective decision making.
- Working closely with Purchase & Suppliers for de-bottlenecking of the capacity constraint parts.
- Map lead time of critical parts based on ABC analysis of lead time and cost.
Capability to delivery under pressure & in complex supply environments handling various suppliers, product lines, quality and spare parts fulfilment. - To work on Effective & Efficient ECN Management to avoid fresh Obsolescence generation
- To Coordinate the department Audits, Prepare responses and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- To support Warehousing in E2E reconciliation every quarter to avoid any kind of discrepancy
- Analyze and Identify the constraints / risks in own supply chain & address / Mitigate the same with appropriate strategy within guidelines
- To Conduct monthly Inventory ageing analysis & maintain optimum Inventory levels and achieve the targets set by plant & Finance
- Finalizing Packaging & Logistics Proposals between Supplier & Plant
- Capacity management Planning & Signoff / Supplies Ramp up Management

Bachelors in Engineering (mechanical/automobile)Work Experience
Work Experience
5 + years of experience in procurement, logistics, Capex and OpexAbility in understanding supplier landscape, value chain mapping to manage three pillars of program management - time, cost, quality
Experienced in developing and executing strategies with suppliers
Ability to work on Spend analysis, negotiations, and good understanding of INCO terms
Ability to plan, create budget and optimise the cost by reducing the overall supply chain cost by ensuring identification of optimum mode of transport/ consolidation/ quick clearances / storage / inventory control / obsolescence management etc.
Ability to understand various SCM process such as Scheduling & Procurement, Logistics, Warehousing, Inventory, SAP-MM Module/ERPTata Motors Leadership Competencies
