Job Summary We are looking for a passionate and talented Sr. Manager of Strategic Insights to support the growing Consumer Research & Insights (CR&I) function as the lead for the Strategic Development Team. As a Sr. Manager of Strategic Insights, you will be responsible for uncovering and elevating consumer trends, needs, pain points, and growth opportunities for the Strategic Development Team. You will design and manage research studies to ensure teams have the best insights to drive decision making in a fast-paced environment. You will also be synthesizing information from various sources into meaningful insights and presenting actionable recommendations to leaders. You will help to educate and inspire the organization to uncover new opportunities for growth whether they are new products, markets, segments, or the next frontier. The Sr. Manager of Strategic Insights reports into the Sr. Director of Experience Insights within the CR&I organization. This position supports our strategy and growth organization. A critical skill in this role is the ability to connect the dots and synthesize large and disparate sources of information to identify new growth opportunities and/or unique distinctions to create competitive advantages. The insights drawn from qualitative and quantitative research will translate to competitive drivers that will allow key internal stakeholders to build successful businesses. In this role, you will work directly with the strategy team on exciting and priority growth strategy initiatives for the company. You will also partner with the Enterprise Business Intelligence Team to understand current consumer behaviors. Key capabilities in this role include opportunity assessment, concept development & concept testing, new product development, trend identification, knowledge mapping, etc. You must be able to move swiftly and decisively as this key role will have significant impact on our business, its relevant categories and will continue to distinguish Comcast as the brand leader in the marketplace. Highly collaborative, comfortable working with cross-functional teams and can build and cultivate trust-based relationships. Ability to quickly assess a situation and provide efficient solutions to meet needs Consistently exercises independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work in variable schedule(s) as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications 5+ years of relevant work experience (research, strategy, marketing, etc.) Experience in primary quantitative & qualitative research and experience designing research projects Experience managing multiple projects, external partners and workflow to ensure quality and accuracy, cost efficiency, and timely completion of projects Experience reporting to diverse stakeholder audiences required Passion for collaboration across various stakeholder teams Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources and translate findings into actionable consumer insights and recommendations Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Experience operating in a fast-moving, rapidly evolving tech environment Employees at all levels are expected to: Understand our Operating Principles; make them the guidelines for how you do your job.
