  What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  - Review contracts and agreements, providing recommendations on accounting requirements for complex transactions
  - Prepare technical accounting memorandums and support the review process with management and external auditors
  - Assist with the implementation of new accounting standards and maintain accounting policies
  - Serve as a key point of contact for accounting-related inquiries and issues
  - Collaborate with internal and external auditors, departments, and business units across the organization
  
  What is Required (Qualifications):
  - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a minimum of 10+ years of applicable work experience; or an advanced degree with 7+ years of applicable experience
  - Thorough knowledge of US GAAP and SEC regulations with practical accounting experience
  - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  - Excellent written and oral communication skills
  - Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and tight deadlines
  
  How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  - CPA certification
  - Prior experience with Big 4 firms or public companies
  - Knowledge of SAP ledgers and related business processes
  - Experience in the aerospace and defense industry
  - Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
