      Senior Manufacturing Manager

      Introduction to Role:

We're seeking a Senior Manufacturing Manager to support the Manufacturing Director in setting and deploying the strategy for Manufacturing at our biologics site in Speke, Liverpool.       Accountabilities:

      As a Senior Manufacturing Manager, you'll lead and mentor a team of 4 Team Managers, ensuring your team operates within the required standards with respect to documentation, good housekeeping, cGMP, health and safety, timekeeping, regulatory legislative requirements and in accordance with any other company policies and procedures. You'll be responsible for leading manufacturing operations and ensuring that the site production plan supports commercial and clinical manufacturing commitments.

      Essential Skills/Experience:

      - Proven previous management experience

      - Confidence in leading a team and driving performance to meet the company's strategic direction

      - Strong awareness and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and Safety, Health and Environmental requirements

      - Ability to demonstrate Lean behaviours and to use relevant lean tools and techniques

      Desirable Skills/Experience:

      - Pharmaceutical industry or regulated industry background

      - Degree qualification in or equivalent in Business, Logistics, Sciences or Engineering

      - Experience of working with seasonal or temporary resource

      - Experience of working in a unionised environment
