What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with product directors, analytics team, and clinical and operational staff to develop strategies and solutions for improving care
- Advise leadership on improvement opportunities and strategies for complex medical conditions and rare diseases
- Lead clinical strategy and develop new clinical models for market-leading care management
- Stay current on scientific literature and use knowledge to inform product strategy and solution design
- Build and develop relationships across teams, identify training opportunities, and deliver presentations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Current and non-restricted MD license with board certification
- 5+ years of clinical practice experience
- 5+ years of experience in population health research or practice
- Excellent analytic and critical thinking skills
- Proven ability to communicate effectively in a matrixed organization
- Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree or fellowship in a population health science or comparable experience
- Experience in design, implementation, and oversight of care management programs
- Experience in value-based care payment models
- Managed care experience
- Experience presenting at academic meetings
