What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement new audit concepts to enhance healthcare payment accuracy
- Collaborate with the audit team to create new tools and processes for improved efficiency
- Oversee quality control of audit claims to ensure compliance with standards
- Prepare responses and provide oversight for client disputes regarding claims
- Train and mentor audit staff on executing various levels of audit projects
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum of three (3) years of direct audit experience or four (4) years of related experience in healthcare billing or analytics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and system databases
- Strong ability to mentor and enhance the performance of audit staff
- Prior experience in healthcare billing and/or claims processing desired
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Datameer and SQL preferred
- Knowledge of Medicaid regulations and standards
- Familiarity with healthcare contracts and related research requirements
- Ability to work effectively in both individual and team settings
