- Req#: 263482
- Assist in project forecasting and constructability assessments.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams, including procurement, construction, and commissioning, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, subcontractors, and construction teams during project execution.
- Review electrical works, test sheets, and approve ITPs upon completion.
- Support the Project Manager in ensuring compliance with UGL's Management System documentation.
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
- Proven leadership and project management experience.
- Strong background in HV electrical systems or renewable/utility projects.
- Experience in supervising technical teams.
- A proactive approach to improving performance, deliverables, and work efficiency.

As we continue to innovate and grow, we're seeking a talented Senior Project Engineer - Electrical to join our team for the exciting Western Downs BESS Stage 2 project.ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a site-based DIDO/FIFO role located near Chinchilla, QLD.You will take charge of conceptual and detailed engineering for HV substations, solar, battery, and electrical Balance of Plant (BOP) systems. Ensuring timely and cost-effective project completion in line with client contracts will be your key focus.
