      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Lead and manage construction teams in accordance with district policies for college construction bond operations
      - Resolve complex construction project-related issues, disputes, and disagreements
      - Review and monitor the progress of construction projects relative to submitted schedules and budget
      - Provide functional direction over construction project schedules, cost control, and quality assurance
      - Coordinate program activities with various district departments and stakeholders

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's Degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management
      - Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential may be substituted for the required education
      - Minimum of 15 years of full-time paid professional project/construction management experience
      - At least 5 years managing large programs with projects valued over $60 million
      - Minimum of 5 years' experience in educational facility construction, public works, or large commercial projects

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in business administration, public relations, accounting, finance, personnel management, and communication
      - Design Build experience
      - Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM)
      - Experience with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified projects
      - Valid Certificate of Registration as an Architect or Professional Engineer in California
