What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the full life cycle of MEP focused design engineering, commissioning, energy optimization, and sustainability initiatives
- Maintain client-focused communication and outreach, ensuring project scope and expectations are clearly defined
- Collaborate with various teams to establish project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Conduct regular project progress review meetings to ensure adherence to contract terms and address any issues
- Engage directly in design oversight and maintain leadership in the engineering discipline for managed projects
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required
- 10 - 15 years of experience in MEP focused design and project management
- Professional registration is preferred
- Proven experience in project engineering and management, preferably in the healthcare sector
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with energy optimization and sustainable design practices
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local compliance regulations
- Strong background in business development and client relationship management
- Ability to lead and mentor team members in engineering practices
