Drive cross functional projects, serving as a role model and mentor, inspiring your project team members to attain goals and pursue excellence
Ensure a high level of ambition and innovation through your motivating leadership
Facilitate the maximization of project value through understanding and recognizing technology needs, business drivers and customer value implications in balancing risk, cost, scope and timeline
Monitor and mitigate project risks, balancing innovation versus risk
Clearly communicate project status, decision requests and risks/issues to Senior Management, and advice and influence decision making by presenting options and recommending actions
Secure regulatory compliance through following the corporate processes
Over time, help optimize our process for product development and establish best practices
Solid project management experience from product development – if you also have a project management certification, it is a further advantage
A technical degree as an engineer, audiologist or other relevant education
Technical knowledge of mechanics, audio or electronics
Experience with product development, preferably within the medical device industry
Interest in both delivering innovative products and securing the needed regulatory documentation according to our processes following ISO13485 and MDR regulation (EU) 2017/745
Experience with lean product development, e.g. SAFe, is an advantage
Speak and write English fluently
High energy levels and ability to thrive in a high-pace environment
Interpersonal sensitivity
Ability to follow through and being a trusted partner to your colleagues and senior management.
Ability to be on top of your project plans, foreseeing potential issues and working with alternative tracks to reduce project risk.

The Team you will be part of
At GN, we are known for great sound quality, design, and technology excellence. At our Headquarter in Ballerup, Denmark, you will enter the Product Engineering organization, where you will join a dynamic hardware project management team of 4 responsible for leading the product development of our new hearing aid and accessory hardware. The goal of the team is to develop best-in-class hearing solutions at the right time, cost, and quality.

Your contribution is appreciated, as you will…
drive cross-functional projects to develop brand-new hearing aids and accessories to hearing aids. You head the leadership of your project supported by a Commercial Lead and a Technical Lead. Our projects vary a lot in size and duration, lasting from 1-3 years with 5-20 employees involved. Responsible for 1-3 projects at a time, you will lead the projects from the ideation phase, through conceptualization, design, prototyping, builds, verification, production qualification, production ramp-up, launch and initial in-market surveillance to ensure R&D support and success in the markets.
