What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Act as Owner's Project Manager for non-profit and community-based projects, overseeing feasibility analysis, budget planning, and overall project management
- Coordinate project teams, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and facilitating discussions
- Manage permitting processes by identifying requirements and coordinating necessary documentation
- Plan and track project budgets, including initial estimates and review of invoices
- Promote the employer's services and respond to project inquiries, proposals, and presentations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- At least ten (10) years of experience managing residential and commercial construction projects
- Strong writing and public speaking skills with a clear communication style
- Experience in tracking project budgets from conceptual design to construction
- Aptitude with technology, including video and phone communications, and familiarity with construction estimating and project management software
- Experience in financial analysis and planning, particularly in development project pro formas and operating budgets
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with green building techniques, net zero construction, Passive House, and Living Building Challenge
- Experience with construction estimating software and QuickBooks
