      Job Description

      CDM Smith is expanding the marketing team in our Federal Services Unit. We’re seeking to add a proven Senior Marketing Specialist with experience in proposals to win contracts for environmental remediation, infrastructure, and facility construction.

      **We are open to this position having: in the office, hybrid, or remote work location options in the domestic United States.**

      As a member of the CDM Smith team, you would participate in business development efforts encompassing multimillion-dollar U.S. government opportunities nationwide and overseas.

      Responsibilities include:
      · Researching federal contract opportunities, competitors, and potential team partners.
      · Analyzing FedBizOpps synopses, requests for proposals, and other solicitation documents.
      · Applying a theme-based approach to development proposals and presentations.
      · Writing and editing complex content for federal proposals and presentations.
      · Using AI tools to develop and refine content for proposals, graphics, and presentations.
      · Coordinating proposal teams that include management, technical, financial, graphic design, and production staff.
      · Traveling occasionally to locations nationwide for meetings and proposal efforts.

      Minimum Qualifications

      · Bachelor's degree.
      · 6 years of related experience.
      · Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
      · Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

      Preferred Qualifications

      · B.A. or B.S. in Communications, English, Business, Journalism, or related degree.
      · Prior experience working for an architectural or engineering firm, specifically within the federal government.
      · Experience working with AI tools like ChatGPT and CoPilot strongly preferred.
      · Proficient in MS Office 365 and SharePoint applications; advanced skills in MS Word and PowerPoint, including use of styles and templates.
      · Experience developing proposals for US federal government clients strongly preferred.
      · Experience with established business development models (e.g., Miller-Heiman, Shipley).
      · Ability to coordinate projects by communicating with remote team members.
      · Experience in editing/proofreading narrative written by other professionals.
      · Demonstrated talent for managing multiple, simultaneous tasks under tight deadlines.
      · Experience using Adobe Creative Suite.

      $77,667

      Additional Compensation

      All bonuses at CDM Smith are discretionary and may or may not apply to this position.
