What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the independent validator and provide final sign-off for high-risk customers and deliverables
- Own and continuously improve validation standards, checklists, and acceptance criteria
- Investigate data discrepancies, assess root causes, and determine severity and impact
- Identify and escalate systemic or recurring issues, recommending corrective and preventive actions
- Coach and mentor QA analysts to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to standards across the team
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in QA, data validation, and analytical problem-solving
- Deep understanding of data models, data flows, and upstream/downstream dependencies
- Proven experience validating large, complex, and high-volume datasets
- Ability to make confident, independent decisions in ambiguous or high-risk scenarios
- Strong risk assessment skills with sound judgment on severity, impact, and tradeoffs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in regulated or high-compliance environments
- Experience in cable, telecom, or data reconciliation for large system/platform migrations
- Ability to influence without authority and partner effectively with cross-functional teams
- Clear, concise communicator capable of translating technical risks into business impact
