What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Write, edit, and create various documentation deliverables, including HTML and PDF end-user documentation, tutorials, and videos for Ansys HFSS
- Update and revise existing documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with current standards
- Collaborate with development teams to determine documentation needs and ensure alignment with product development activities
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about Ansys products and documentation tools
- Mentor junior documentation specialists as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS in Technical Writing, Technical Communication, Computer Science, English, or Engineering with 5 years’ experience, or MS with 3 years’ experience
- Fluency in English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to gather and analyze technical information
- Proven experience in creating user-centric documentation that is high in quality and accuracy
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, XML, and image/video editing
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with Ansys HFSS or similar 3D simulation software
- Experience with documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, oXygen, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Knowledge of Python and version control systems like Git
- Experience with agile development methodologies and project management software
