- Screens resumes and conducts interviews to identify top talent for open positions. Responsible for managing the offer and onboarding process, including ensuring compliance with pre-employment testing requirements.
- Lead local marketing recruiting efforts through strategic outreach and engagement initiatives. Responsible for developing and nurturing community partnerships and hosting / attending local hiring events.
- Source candidates for variety of exempt and non-exempt level positions using various methods including job boards, social media, networking and direct outreach.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of hiring needs. Advises managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Level of Formal Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Area of Study: HR or related field
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in related field
- Type of Experience:
- At least 4 years' Recruiting experience - full life cycle, candidate identification, and sourcing
- At least 2 years' experience consulting with several hiring managers on high volume supply chain/logistics/distribution/warehouse etc. positions
- Technical Competencies:
- Expertise in ATS, CRM or other HR technologies
- Intermediate Microsoft Office experience including Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to successfully utilize online tools to identify, source and recruit talent
- Skills and Ability:
- Ability to influence and drive results in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to use innovative techniques to attract and recruit diverse talent
- Experience in compensation and general legal/HR Compliance requirements as related to hiring
Job Description
While this a fully remote role, there may some travel needed to sites during peak season.
The Senior Recruiter leads recruitment efforts for both exempt and non-exempt positions, developing strategies to handle rapid growth and peak hiring seasons. This onsite role focuses on local market recruitment, building community partnerships, and participating in hiring events to enhance the organization's local presence. They will source and screen candidates, manage offers, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
