What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead scientific and technical support for research projects, ensuring successful execution and maintenance of experiments
- Review research documentation and provide detailed technical notes and reports
- Perform analyses on research portfolios to identify gaps and assess progress
- Coordinate meetings and interactions with other services and government agencies
- Prepare and analyze laboratory experiments, maintaining communication with the Principal Investigator
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Advanced Degree (PhD or MD) required
- 5-10 years of experience with Department of Defense (DoD) Grants and Agreements administration and management
- 5-10 years of medical research project management experience, preferably with the Department of Defense
- Strong competence in oral and written communication
- Intermediate level computer skills, including experience with Excel and Microsoft Office Software
