What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct expert review of pharmacy-related charge audits and denials
- Analyze pharmacy claims in collaboration with pharmacy IS, Billing, and Managed Care teams
- Ensure compliance with billing regulations while maximizing reimbursement
- Provide support and education to Pharmacy and Revenue Cycle teams on coding and documentation requirements
- Stay updated on quarterly HCPCS updates and value analysis
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of three years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, clinic operations, or as a pharmacy technician
- Certification required: CCA, CCS, CIC-ICD, COC, CPC, RHIA, or RHIT
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Additional certifications such as Certified Coding Associate, Certified Coding Specialist, Certified Professional Coder, Registered Health Information Administrator, Registered Health Information Technician, Certified Outpatient Coding, or Certified Inpatient Coder ICD-10
