      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Evaluate and enhance charging and coding structures to ensure compliance and accurate revenue capture
      - Identify and address process gaps leading to missed or delayed charges for timely billing
      - Collaborate on managing and auditing the Charge Description Master (CDM) for revenue cycle integrity
      - Analyze billing errors and denials to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
      - Mentor junior specialists and provide guidance on billing, coding, and reconciliation practices

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
      - Minimum of five years of experience in a hospital or healthcare billing environment
      - Strong analytical and financial skills, including database management and report generation
      - Comprehensive understanding of healthcare revenue cycle operations
      - Relevant professional certifications such as CPC, COC, AHIMA CCS, RN, RT, MT, RPH, or PMP are highly desirable

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Proven ability to review and interpret managed care contracts and billing guidelines
      - Knowledge of federal and state rules governing coding and billing practices
      - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex issues across teams
      - Ability to influence outcomes without direct supervisory authority
      - Experience developing quality audit programs and associated reports
