What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop an in-depth understanding of customers' business needs and decision-making processes
- Collaborate with account managers and channel partners to create a seamless customer experience
- Deliver compelling technical presentations to clients to secure technical wins
- Lead responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs while capturing customer requirements
- Stay updated on market trends and competitive landscape to enhance solution positioning
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of pre-sales experience in data storage or data management
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications
- Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions
- Experience with NFS and knowledge of current storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, containers, k8s, and microservices architectures
- Experience supporting the sale of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software
- Knowledge of storage-intensive applications and their requirements, such as SQL and Oracle databases
- Curiosity and passion for technology and its application in real-world scenarios
