What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Act as the primary interface to assigned customer accounts, representing the employer with integrity and professionalism
- Achieve sales targets in alignment with the organization's commercial strategy
- Lead the preparation and submission of responses to Requests for Information, Requests for Qualification, and Requests for Proposal
- Manage contract negotiations according to delegated authority
- Contribute to the identification and assessment of market trends and business opportunities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Bidding position within the Mass Transit rail industry in the United States and Canada
- Strong negotiation and contracting skills in a B2B context
- Technical aptitude with the ability to learn technical matters
- Proficiency in Office Suite applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Exceptional public speaking and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Technical knowledge in emerging fields such as big data & analytics, cybersecurity, and software development
- Direct experience with large infrastructure capital projects and Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects
- Experience in rail vehicle sales or rail signaling sales
- Knowledge of digital solutions for passenger transportation and asset management
- MBA, Executive MBA, or Leadership Program certificates
