  • Someone who is a self-starter, doesn't need a lot of hand holding.
  • Someone that can take reqts and analyze and be able to design to an extent but the client will also help with the design aspect of it and will help with modification.
  • Someone that has strong apex skills, CPQ, has an AI component is ideal.
  • It's a red flag if someone as a developer has done too much of configuration work.
  
  
  Job Title: Senior Salesforce Developer with CPQ Expertise
  Job Summary:
  We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce Developer with expertise
  also in Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) to join our team.
  
  Key Responsibilities:
  
  • Design and implement robust Salesforce solutions considering impact analysis, ensuring scalability, performance, data integrity and alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce tools.
  • Configure Salesforce CPQ functionalities, including product configuration, pricing rules, discount structures, QCP and approval processes.
  • Conduct unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with business system analysts, business stakeholders and development team to clarify functional and technical requirements.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical design documents (TDDs), including architecture diagrams, data flow mappings, and integration designs, to support efficient development and future scalability.
  • Contribute actively in thorough code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code.
  • Adhere to Salesforce development best practices, including naming conventions, coding standards, and documentation.
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
  Experience:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Salesforce development.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ.
  
  Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQL.
  • Proficient in Salesforce CPQ
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model and security configurations.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (e.g., Git, Copado).
  
  Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication to be able to handle technical and functional audiences.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  
  Certifications (Preferred):
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II.
  • Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification.
