- Ensure that the site complies with AFI’s standards and policies as well as the applicable legislation and customer requirements related to QEHS area including maintaining certificated standards
- Responsible for handling and resolving customer-related QEHS issues
- Coordinate complaints and local crisis management within QEHS
- Develop, anchor and role model a lean/safety/quality/food safety/continuous development culture on site
- Lead, coach and develop your team according to Arla Leadership behaviours and values
- Manage, develop, train and coach colleagues and other stakeholders in QEHS

In the role Senior Site QEHS Manager, you are not only part of the Site Leadership Team at our largest production site in Denmark, Danmark Protein; you are also responsible for smooth daily operational processes business with your direct reports. And you will identify improvement potential and offer strategic advice and support for the entire site and collaborate with the wider QEHS network across Arla Foods. The role refers to the Senior Director.
How you will make an impact
As our new Senior Site QEHS manager, you can look forward to the following responsibilities, among other:
Experienced leader with a passion for the QEHS area
We imagine that the ideal candidate for this position has minimum 7 year of experience within food safety or production, quality assurance, or health and safety in a manufacturing environment or any other industries with high safety standards. Your educational background could be a MSc level degree in food technology, microbiology, biochemistry, or related. Theoretical leadership education would be a plus but not a requirement.
As a person, you are proactive and use challenges and discoveries to look in new directions and generate ideas. You get motivated by finding ways to improve how we work, and you are most proud when your team thrive. In addition, you have a proven ability and enthusiasm to embark teams on safety, health and quality deployment, with the capability to influence & delegate effectively, whilst striving for high performance.
