What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, implement, and operate distributed database technologies such as MongoDB, Postgres, RDS, Aurora, and DynamoDB
- Develop scalable, reliable, and efficient database systems with a focus on performance and cost efficiency
- Guide other engineers and leadership in making informed technical decisions
- Write high-quality, well-tested code that meets customer needs
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and provide operational support for database systems
What is Required (Qualifications):
- At least 5 years of industry experience in building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems
- In-depth experience with large-scale database deployments in a production environment
- Hands-on experience with cloud distributed databases (e.g., MongoDB, Postgres, RDS, Aurora)
- Solid understanding of distributed database architecture, performance tuning, and reliability
- Backend service development experience in Golang, Java, or Python
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with crypto technologies and onchain activities such as Ethereum and blockchain-based services
- Experience with incident response and disaster recovery for highly available systems
- Experience in a rapidly growing company environment
