      The Opportunity

Candidates will work with a modern tech stack on a Software as a Service cloud platform to support the well-being of users in over 25 countries in a large-scale system responsible for processing billions of messages daily . The candidate should bring passion for software engineering and a desire for continuous learning as well as versatility, leadership qualities and a desire to shape the direction of the team. Candidate will support building scalable, highly available , efficient, and secure cloud solutions for a medical device SaaS. #software

      What You'll Work On

      • The Release Manager will play an integral role in implementing and executing Abbott Diabetes Care Mobile release processes

      • The role supports ADC’s engineering helping drive the continuous integration/deployment process to production mobile application stores

      • The Release Manager will ensure that new software is released in a streamlined manner from development to production

      • As a Release Manager you'll use your strong technical ability to drive product releases across many different systems and teams, and ensure that ADC’s products are delivered with a repeatable and scalable process

      • Own, manage and improve our mobile application release process

      • Focus on scale and efficiency

      • Support Operations team in production deployments across the globe

      • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to evaluate, develop, and manage global software releases for our solutions

      • Defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to measure the success of each release

      • Presenting release performance against expectations and future best practices to the management team

      Required Qualifications

      • Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience managing multiple projects and/or release management programs

      • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science , Information Technology or other relevant field

      • Software development experience, ideally in a global mobile application release management setting

      • In-depth understanding of mobile application app stores and their processes

      • Eagerness to contribute beyond experience level

      • Comfortable working asynchronously with a distributed team

      • Excellent written , verbal and listening communication skills

      • Experience with open-source, software development and system engineering.

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Experience in a regulated industry or medical device field .

      • Experience working in an agile environment.

      • Experience using external or internal tooling to support delivering mobile applications to various app stores.

      $83,000.00 – $166,000.00
