What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare, review, and negotiate outgoing sub-awards, ensuring compliance with University and external agency policies
- Provide expert advice and training to faculty and research administrators on research administration processes
- Conduct system testing and provide SUBSystem support to various stakeholders
- Manage FFATA reporting and assist with Small Business Subcontracting Plans (SBSP) reporting
- Spearhead special projects aimed at streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and/or experience that meets minimum educational requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Research Administration
- Ability to exercise sound judgment regarding financial information
- Strong detail-oriented skills and ability to manage workload effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Experience with accounting processes and systems
- Proficiency in analytical thinking and developing proposals
- Strong customer service skills and ability to multitask effectively
- Experience in training and conducting presentations
- Familiarity with electronic mail and word processing software
