What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide project management for high voltage and EHV substation projects, ensuring adherence to design, budgets, and performance metrics
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with project stakeholders and report on project progress
- Lead contract negotiations and client presentations, ensuring alignment with project goals
- Oversee project reviews and problem resolution, developing recovery plans as necessary
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance and quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field within the Power & Energy Market
- 12 years of relevant post-education experience in a project management role within the Power Delivery/Utility Industry
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading engineering and/or construction teams on high voltage substation projects
- Proficient in project management processes, including risk management and schedule management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Earned Value Management and Change Management methodologies
- Advanced proficiency with project management software, including Primavera P6 or equivalent
- Proven track record in upholding workplace safety standards and policies
