- Establishing strategies for Technical Safety disciplines
- Follow up to ensure that project design satisfy safety requirements
- Risk and consequence analysis (Fire, explosion, etc)
- Escape, Evacuation, Rescue and Recovery Assessments
- Perform design reviews/verifications
- Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA)
- Fire Water Demand Calculations
- Fire & Gas detection layouts
- Cause & Effect for fire detection & suppression system
- Clean agent fire suppression systems
- Safety equipment layout
- Prepare specification for safety equipment
- Participate in Dynamic Risk Assessment (DRA), HAZOP, HAZID and SAFOP workshops
- Workplace Assessment (Human Factor engineering)

- Bachelor or Master of Chemical Engineering, Safety, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5-15 years of experience in safety design within offshore windfarms, power plants, oil and gas, power to x (hydrogen), plastics to fuel, specialty chemicals or similar industries
- Knowledge of hazard identification and evaluation techniques (HAZOP, HAZID, ALARP, LOPA, etc.)
- Good English skills oral and written in fluent level are required.

You will join our Technical Safety department
As our new Senior Technical Safety Engineer you will be part of a team of 5 highly dedicated technical specialists in Esbjerg and 2 in Chennai, who contribute to both clients and in-house projects with regards to technical safety. The work involves analytical safety analysis as well as workshops, facilitating for clients and development of safety applications
The primary focus areas of the department are the offshore wind and oil and gas, sustainable energy (power to X-hydrogen) sectors. Our services cover activities with Technical Safety Design, Risk Assessment, Loss Prevention and HSE project management (Risk register, coordination, etc). We cover all aspects of a project including concept and feasibility studies, detailed engineering, EPC and follow-up engineering. .
The team cooperates closely with technical safety specialists in all parts of the Ramboll organisation, and specialists in a broad selection of fields for engagement of highly specialised competences when required.
