We are seeking a Senior Technical Manager Hydrogen - Asset Development for the Business Line Hydrogen to join our International Asset Development team. Your responsibilities

In this role you will be part of;;

• Uniper's team managing interdisciplinary technical asset based projects, including the development and implementation of green, turquoise and blue hydrogen projects in Europe with a focus on Uniper's core countries (e.g. Sweden, Netherlands, UK).

• Projects may also cover interfaces to hydrogen derivatives, sustainable aviation fuels, methanol, ammonia.

• You will be responsible to steer technical project management from concept to final investment decision. This includes to coordinate technical and commercial contracts and co-operation with key equipment suppliers.Within the team you will also support the business development team in interfaces with stakeholders and customers.
• With the aid of Uniper´s growth engineering team you will manage international engineering contractors during the engineering phase.
• You may also be called upon to advise and support other Uniper units with regards to hydrogen and hydrogen derivatives or be an internal/external key contact for green and blue hydrogen technology,

We will therefore carry out security clearance of all positions and complement with register control for security classified positions, according to the Protection Security Act. Uniper is part of Sweden´s vital societal functions and critical infrastructure which is why this position may be subject to wartime placement.Health and drug tests are performed if applicable.

Your profile

We are looking for a creative and open-minded team player with the ability to independently lead the technical project development or the project management team. During the project development you will be required to deliver results and adapt to changes at a high pace. Communication skills and ability to build working relationships across the Uniper Group and with project stakeholders are highly valued.

Who we are seeking;

• A person with significant professional experience (5-7 years) in the energy, power, chemical or plant engineering industry (e.g. project manager, technical lead)
• University degree in a relevant technical field, e.g. process engineering or electrical engineering or comparable field.
• Several years of expertise in actively developing and executing projects, preferably in industrial gases business, energy or process industry
• Experience in leading complex projects and interdisciplinary project teams
• Strong technical competence
• Professional command of English and Swedish
• Conceptual and analytical thinking combined with the ability to prioritize from a holistic view
