What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide project management leadership for high voltage and EHV Transmission Line projects, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and quality standards
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with project stakeholders and report on project progress
- Oversee contract negotiations and client presentations, ensuring alignment with project goals
- Manage project documentation and ensure compliance with QA/QC plans
- Facilitate project kick-off meetings and coordinate resource requirements with technical managers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field within the Power & Energy Market
- 12+ years of relevant experience in a project management role within the Power Delivery/Utility Industry
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading teams on medium to large electrical utility scale projects
- Proficient in project management processes and tools, including Earned Value Management and Risk Management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with all levels of the organization
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with project management software such as Primavera P6 or equivalent
- Proven ability to develop innovative solutions to project management challenges
- Familiarity with the energy transition and emerging trends within the power industry
- Ability to mentor and guide mid-level to senior project team members
- Experience in contract management and negotiations
