      Senior Travel Manager

      Salary: Circa £70k

      This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Travel Manager to lead the Travel and fleet team, understanding Aviva’s travel and fleet requirements and providing a world-class travel and event service to our customers. With a focus on implementing controls and measures designed to meet and exceed compliance within agreed travel and fleet services and policies.

      A bit about the job:

      You will deliver great customer outcomes and maintain great service, supporting the delivery of the wider Aviva Strategy – focus on the big 4 (Customer, Sustainability, Efficiency, & Growth), and management to effect travel suppliers and operational outputs, collaborating across Aviva and supplier partners to understand and satisfy both Aviva strategies and colleague needs.

      You will support the travel security risk analysis proactively and reactively, ensuring effective operational reporting to appropriate boards and risk committees, while working closely with the wider teams, to ensure compliance CIO reporting requirements and ensure alignment to the Group strategy, legal entity strategy, and business demands, and compliance with Aviva governance for spend.

      It will be your personal responsibility to achieve a year-on-year improvement in the ownership and understanding of risks, the strength of controls, customer outcomes and the quality of everyday decisions.

      Skills and experience we’re looking for:

      • Awareness of incident management, travel and events security

      • Customer orientated to deliver a great service, building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers

      • Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiating skills, with the ability to understand and influence others to see the bigger picture

      • Demonstrated record of maintaining and improving operational management and governance activity

      • Ability to motivate on-site teams and drive exceptional customer experience

      • Starting salary Circa £70k (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
