      Value Management Manager

Would you like to join an international team with high aspirations, in a fast-paced environment where we’re having fun whilst creating value? Then we have a fantastic role that sits at Carlsberg’s Central Office in the heart of Copenhagen, as a Value Management Manager in our Commercial Development Value Management team.

Our Value Management (VM) team is a global function that aims to build revenue growth management capability and mindset across the commercial organization (above and in the market) by providing guidance and support across our levers (Pricing, Promotion, Trade Terms and Assortment). You will be part of a fun, engaged and varied international team working with Group Commercial functions and markets across Europe and Asia.

As a result, you will gain a great level of exposure to different functions, markets, and stakeholders as well as solid VM knowledge (from Strategy to Execution and Embedment). The role engages the Beer and Beverages Carlsberg portfolio and requires to work cross-functionally across Western Europe, Central & Eastern Europe and Asia.

You will report to the Senior Value Management Director. The role requires travelling.

      What you'll be doing

The role is designed to lead the Value Management Fundamentals in all markets, raising the minimum level of capability standard.

As part of your responsibilities, you will:

      • Develop and roll out VM analytics (Power BI/Excel) and frameworks (such as Brand, Pack, Price & Channel architecture, Promotion Analytics, and Pricing Scenario Modeling) to the new markets and embed them sustainably in the onboarded ones, supporting local teams in the journey from the technical set-up to the commercial action plan.
      • Continuously improve the frameworks and ways of working based on the markets’ feedback and increase the level of capability.
      • Codify and lead adoption of the new global standardized frameworks, taking VM capabilities to the next level, with the help of external partners.
      • Lead the VM agenda for selected EU markets including understanding the commercial background and the key commercial challenge we are trying to solve through VM.
      • Engage with IIT, insights and external partners to drive data & analytics automation.
      • Engage with external vendors and bring learning to Carlsberg on best-in-class practices, tools, and ways of working.
      • Engage the Global VM Community and encourage best practice sharing among markets.
      • Evaluate the markets’ capability, design a global VM acceleration roadmap and drive prioritization based on potential impact.
      • Provide ad-hoc support and troubleshooting to the markets where needed (on any of the VM levers and their embedment to the commercial cycle, data, automation, and good practice sharing).
      • Support and contribute to the ‘VMx’ Acceleration program 2030, which is tech-enable and will transform ways of working.

      What we're looking for

To fully perform in the role, we imagine that you have:

      • Solid and proven track of experience in FMCG/ CPG in commercial especially Sales Development / Revenue Growth Management
      • Advanced project management skills
      • Good level of business insights
      • Experience in embedding processes and changing ways of working.
      • Strong data structuring and analysis skills.
      • Experience working both with internal (e.g., P&L) and external (e.g., Nielsen) data structures.
      • Advanced stakeholder management skills.
      • Motivation and orientation towards the results
      • Capability of being highly organized, and detail-oriented with an aptitude for solving.
      • High interpersonal and communication skills.
      • Ability to work in tight timelines and deliver a time-sensitive setting.
      • Advanced English language level both written and spoken.
      • Experience in specific Value Management levers (Price-pack architecture / Pricing / Promo / Trade Terms) will be highly appreciated.
      • Experience in Power BI or similar tools is good to have.
