What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct deep SEO research and stay ahead of algorithm updates and emerging technologies in the SEO landscape
- Perform comprehensive SEO audits for client websites, identifying issues and implementing data-driven solutions
- Utilize AI-powered tools and advanced analytics to discover keyword opportunities and optimize content strategies
- Create and optimize site elements such as 301 redirects, HTML/XML sitemaps, title tags, and meta descriptions for enhanced indexing
- Develop and implement local SEO strategies to improve online visibility in local search results
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices, including site architecture, coding, site speed optimization, and link building
- Experience with SEO crawling and auditing tools such as Screaming Frog
- Proficiency in rank tracking and competitive analysis tools like Semrush or Ahrefs
- Excellent written and verbal English skills
- Availability to work 40 hours per week from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm PST
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Perplexity to enhance SEO workflows
- Knowledge of JavaScript and PHP
- Basic knowledge of web copywriting and web design in relation to SEO functionality
- Ability to adapt in a diverse, multicultural environment
- Passion for building and growing a startup
