What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Execute advanced SEO strategies using AI-enhanced tools for keyword clustering and content optimization
- Conduct technical audits to identify and resolve site performance issues
- Develop SEO-informed content outlines and collaborate with content teams for execution
- Lead digital PR and link-building campaigns to secure high-quality backlinks
- Monitor and report on SEO performance using analytics tools
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3-5+ years of professional SEO experience with proven results in technical SEO and content optimization
- Proficiency in tools such as Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics (GA4)
- Strong understanding of crawl budget and structured data implementation
- Experience creating SEO-driven content outlines and collaborating with content teams
- Proven ability to acquire high-quality backlinks through digital PR and outreach strategies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with WordPress CMS and SEO plugins for content management
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools for content optimization (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper)
- Background in higher education or other content-rich industries
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities
