      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Assist Services Specialists on visits with youth and family members to support case plan implementation
      - Transport family members to encourage family involvement in services
      - Report observations made during visits and propose recommendations as needed
      - Participate in Team Decision Meetings and pre-placement conferences with Services Specialists
      - Supervise visitations between parents, siblings, and relatives, ensuring safety and reporting any incidents

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Completion of two years of college (60 semester or 90 term credits) with at least 15 semester (23 term) credits in relevant human services areas
      - No specific experience is required for Services Specialist Assistant 8 position
      - One year of experience equivalent to a Services Specialist Assistant 8 for Services Specialist Assistant 9 position
      - Two years of experience equivalent to a Services Specialist Assistant 8 or one year equivalent to a Services Specialist Assistant 9 for Services Specialist Assistant E10 position
      - Valid driver's license from Michigan or another state with an official two-year driving record if applicable

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with the child welfare system
      - Additional coursework or training in relevant human services fields
      - Familiarity with community resources and support services for families
      - Experience in case management or social services
      - Strong interpersonal and communication skills
