      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Support the implementation of case plans and permanency planning for disadvantaged individuals
      - Accompany Services Specialists on visits with youth and family members
      - Transport family members to facilitate family involvement in services
      - Participate in Team Decision Meetings and pre-placement conferences
      - Supervise visitations between parents, siblings, relatives, and potential adoptive relatives

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Completion of two years of college (60 semester or 90 term credits) with relevant coursework in human services areas
      - Experience equivalent to a Services Specialist Assistant 8 for higher-level positions
      - Valid driver's license or provision of a two-year driving record if licensed in another state
      - Ability to provide official transcripts and update resume and cover letter with application
      - Must be able to work within Michigan if approved for remote or hybrid work

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience working within the child welfare system
      - Knowledge of social work, sociology, or related human services fields
      - Previous experience in family engagement or case management support roles
      - Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations in child welfare
      - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
