To effectively lead, manage and co-ordinate the SARC team in the delivery of the SARC service which aims to improve Health and Criminal Justice outcomes for victims of sexual assault in accordance with Contractual obligations, National guidelines and Local targets.
To ensure SARC reaches UKAS ISO 15189 accreditation standards along with the ForensicQuality Manager and Technical Manager.
To evaluate and assess provision of service feeding back monthly data, quarterly and annual reports to Commissioners and internal and external Stakeholders.
To implement changes in practice when required and work towards continuous improvement within budgetary restraints.

Job summary
Sexual Assault Referral Centre Manager (SARC)
Location: Cumbria SARC - CA11 8JA
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 08:30-17:00.
Salary: £42,000 per annum.

Main duties of the job
Job Outline:
To lead, manage and coordinate the delivery of the SARC service in accordance with Contractual Obligations, National guidelines and Local Targets and play a pivotal role in its continued development within budgetary restraints. In addition, assist the SARC to reach ISO 15189 and maintain this standard through the life of the contract and be responsible for the site and building management in Cumbria. This is a clinical post and the SARC manager covers the SOE daytime rota 5 days per week with 2 days self managed protected management time.
