Job Description

- Define team strategy (mission/vision) and align priorities for team members
- Set SMART objectives that support institute priorities
- Identify resource and capability needs and create a people development plan
- Allocate resources based on project priorities
- Promote and drive a safety and good laboratory practices culture
- Drive and develop product/process-specific analytical expertise
- Master's degree or PhD in chemistry, biochemistry, or other relevant fields
- Minimum of 2-3 years of management experience
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, autonomy, and results focus
- Excellent organizational skills, particularly in lab organization
- Proficiency in good laboratory practices and safety protocols
- Digital competencies to leverage data and create presentations
- Good knowledge of chemistry and physics analytics
- Skills in method validation
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and French

You will manage research assistants and technicians, fostering flexibility for effective priority management and adaptation to changing needs. As the manager, you will oversee R&D practices, resource allocation, and promote a culture of continuous learning.
