      What You’ll Do:

      Responsible for the design, implementation, and reporting of new and existing policies and procedures for the Maintenance SBU. Detects inefficiencies and recommends process solutions resulting in reduced cost and increased productivity within maintenance and its subsidiaries.

      · Benchmark current maintenance processes and systems against other USX departments, vendors, and 3rd party entities.

      · Utilize various software tools for project management.

      · Use data and other resources to perform analysis of maintenance processes; create reports as requested by leadership.

      · Lead all Road Maintenance Supervisors; directly responsible for allocating assignments, performance management, coaching, and development of assigned employees.

      · Work with team members to outline goals and objectives related to department improvement procedures.

      · Collaborate with executive management to develop solutions and recommendations for process improvement.

      · Performs other duties as assigned.

      What We’re Looking For:

      Education

      · High school diploma or equivalent required.

      Experience

      · Minimum 3-5 years’ experience managing large-scale projects and/or performance improvement initiatives.

      · Experience in the transportation industry a plus.

      Skills/Certifications

      · Strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills.

      · Intimate knowledge of USX operations, business, and ethical standards.

      · Strong knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft office suite, Querying tools, and proprietary systems related to maintenance.

      · Self-starter that works with little supervision.

      Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and other continuous improvement concepts required.

      Work Environment / Physical Requirements – Normal office settings.
