      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Act as the primary liaison for investigators relying on external sIRBs and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
      - Review applications for relying sites and ensure all institutional requirements are met before approval
      - Coordinate the negotiation of individual study reliance agreements with external sIRBs
      - Communicate policies and requirements to external sIRBs and review consent forms for compliance
      - Participate in the development and implementation of educational workshops for the research community

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's Degree required; experience can be substituted in place of a degree
      - At least 5-7 years of experience in clinical research or regulatory affairs
      - Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
      - Strong understanding of federal regulations, including the Common Rule and HIPAA
      - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Master's Degree preferred
      - IRB professional (CIP) certification within 2 years of hire, with 1-2 years of experience preferred
      - High degree of computer literacy
      - Analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
