      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Act as the primary liaison for investigators relying on external IRBs for oversight in multi-site research
      - Review applications for participating sites to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
      - Determine eligibility for reliance on external reviewing IRBs based on institutional policies
      - Coordinate the review and negotiation of reliance agreements with external IRBs
      - Develop and implement educational workshops for the research community

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's Degree required (experience can be substituted in place of a degree)
      - At least 5-7 years of experience in clinical research or regulatory affairs
      - Strong understanding of federal regulations, including the Common Rule and HIPAA
      - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
      - High degree of computer literacy

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Master's Degree preferred
      - IRB professional (CIP) certification within 2 years of hire
      - 1-2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred
      - Analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex problems
      - Experience in developing educational materials for research compliance
