      About the Role:

      As Site Manager for Woundcare, you’ll lead strategic manufacturing operations, ensuring targets for production, quality, safety, service, and cost are met. You’ll oversee production, quality control, material handling, and scheduling, while driving continuous improvement aligned with site goals. Collaboration with business and market teams will be key to fostering innovation and growth.

      Our Health & Medical business and trusted brands like Actimove®, Cutimed®, Delta-Cast®, JOBST®, Leukoplast® and TENA®, provide innovative, sustainable solutions for managing conditions such as lymphedema, chronic wounds, orthopedic injuries and incontinence, and advancing MedTech across hospitals, pharmacies, nursing homes and online channels.

      What You Will Do:

      • Lead the execution of manufacturing operations and develop improvement strategies to achieve safety, quality, delivery, performance, and cost targets.

      • Own the Site P&L and budget, setting and following up on site targets and objectives.

      • Ensure legal and Essity compliance, preparing for audits and being a role model for safety.

      • Manage Site Union relations in collaboration with HR.

      • Drive growth through effective cross-functional collaboration and innovation.

      • Apply lean manufacturing principles to achieve continuous improvement and operational excellence.

      • Develop the Factory Management Team on HMex principles and ensure capability building through training and coaching.

      • Investigate and implement innovative manufacturing processes to reduce costs and improve product quality.

      Who You Are:

      • Minimum 10 years of experience in Operations, with over 6 years as a Site Manager.

      • Proven leadership experience in a matrix organization, with the ability to collaborate across diverse, international teams.

      • Skilled in TPM implementation, automation/digitalization, Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and problem-solving.

      • Highly energetic and agile, with a positive self-starter attitude.

      • Excellent communicator with the ability to build connections and inspire a common vision.

      • Fluent in the local language and English, with experience in SAP 4/Hana or IT-savvy
