      DP World is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as a Site Manager to join our team in Polkowice, Poland. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire branch and managing subordinate staff of approximately 100 indirect reports, a fleet of forklifts and supervision of logistics processes. The Site Manager strengthens the company's position in Poland by building a positive image of the company as a logistics provider. In this exciting role, you will work closely with client representatives, attend daily client meetings to actively participate in the running of the branch and its customer services. Furthermore, you will contribute to initiating improvement projects and supporting & managing ongoing changes in accordance with DP World guidelines and the contractual agreements with the client. You will play a key role in establishing long-term relationships with the client by understanding the specificity of work in the entrusted area, adapting the strategy of action and reacting flexibly in a changing environment.

      This position is on-site in Polkowice and will report to the Director Contract Logistics in Poland.

      Your Key Responsibilities:

      - Ensuring effective implementation of processes in the subordinate branch, including:

      • planning, control and optimization of current work processes in the subordinate area
      • control of costs and implementation of budgets
      • immediate action in situations that may pose a threat to the continuity of processes
      • in accordance with the adopted emergency strategy
      • implementation of the company's guidelines and quality goals.

      - Planning the annual budget, including: staff requirements and investment needs for the next financial year;

      - Co-creating, accepting and monitoring the effectiveness of the implementation of the training plan for the Branch;

      - Motivation, improvement of qualifications and development of employees;

      - Analysis of processes implemented by the Branch and current & periodic reporting for the needs of the company's management team;
      - Ensuring compliance with customer guidelines and active participation in quality audits conducted in the subordinate branch;
      - Supervision of the internal flow of information, inventory processes and departmental documentation in accordance with the management principles;
      - Reporting damage to equipment, property and accidents and participation in planning the equipment and furnishings of the subordinate areas;

      - Acting as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with the company’s principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies.

      Strategic Personnel Management:
      • Participating actively in recruitment processes and co-deciding in hiring or dismissal of employees;

      • Support on-the-job training and inducrion for newly hired employees in the subordinate departments;

      • Assessment of the work of subordinate staff based on the flexlist;

      • Organization and assigning of tasks, facilitiation of internal trainings and performance management of subordinate staff;

      • Planning of workschedules, replacements and holidays.

      Your Background & Skills:

      • Bachelor or Master Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent;
      • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial position within Logistics, preferably in the Automotive industry;
      • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization;
      • Fluent professional proficiency in the Polish and English language is required, any additional langue proficiency (i.e. German) is a plus;
      • Good organizational and problems-solving skills as well as strong abilities to challenge, facilitate, influence and convince stakeholders to ensure the DP World is represented in the best possible way;
      • High level of understanding of business operations and knowledge of Integrated Management System documentation based on the documentation supervision tools of the company;
      • Strategic mindset and the ability to develop effective relationships with the customers and understand and align their needs to our services;
      • Strong personality traits: analytical, adaptability (openness to change), initiative, persistance, result-oriented (goalsetting, high quality of work), self-motivated and strong attention to details;
      • Based and authorized to work in Poland with the ability to work fulltime at our site in Polkowice.
