      Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions (VWTS) - Engineered Systems is seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant/Site/Operations
      Manager to join their team in the Great Lakes service organization. This key leadership role will involve building and leading a team of 20+
      professionals responsible for providing our customer with exceptional service with our water and wastewater treatment solutions.
      The ideal candidate should possess an industrial or technical background, preferably in the water and wastewater treatment industry, with
      proven experience in customer and account management, as well as team leadership. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are
      essential for success in this role.
      The position will be remote for the first few months, allowing for flexibility during the construction phase of a new plant in Hemlock, Michigan.
      From late 2024 onwards, the successful candidate will be required to live within one hour of the jobsite.
      This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the growth and success of VWTS's operations in Michigan. The Plant/Site/Operations
      Manager will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing team, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business
      growth through effective account management and team leadership.
      About the role:
      ● Lead a large team in safely & reliably operating a complex water/wastewater plant at an industrial customer site
      ● Responsible for operational metrics at the site including Environmental Health & Safety, quality of service, utilization, commercial
      development
      ● Manage the customer relationship that involves a complex contract
      ● Responsible for lifecycle management of all assets at the plant, ensuring the team has necessary tools, and skills to prevent
      failures and deterioration of equipment
      ● Own the financial performance of the operation
      ● Help identify & drive productivity projects at the plant
      ● Responsible for building, retaining & developing a team from the ground-up and driving a culture of accountability
      ● Participate in the commissioning and start up phases of the new plant
      ● Responsible for developing front line leaders, technicians and support functions with necessary skills to successfully meet
      fulfillment obligations
      ● Own development of strong succession plans for the assigned team
      ● Drive timely closure of customer issues or audit findings
      ● Communicate with leadership and supporting functions, and request necessary resources when something is off target
      ● Foster a culture of respect, responsibility, solidarity, innovation and customer focus with the assigned team

      Qualifications

      Core Requirements:

      ● BS degree in a technical field: Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent experience
      ● 5+ years industrial background and leadership experience in operations/services
      ● EHS-focused
      ● Team-oriented
      ● Computer proficient with ability to learn other software applications
      ● Ability and willingness to travel ~50% during the training period for ~2-3 months prior to the start-up of the long-term site

      Desired:
      ● Project Management experience
      ● Strong service background
      ● Experience interfacing directly with customers on technical and contractual performance issues
      ● Confident in leading team meetings and customer reviews
